Marq Evans Hopes to Capture Big Streaming Sales with “Capturing Bigfoot”

Capturing Bigfoot" Director Curates Hoax Claims, Then Refuses to Own Them on His Own Podcast

Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. Three times is a pattern.

It turns out that Marq Evans, the director of "Capturing Bigfoot", has a new YouTube channel, and for his inaugural episode he interviews a Bigfoot researcher and friend of Bob Gimlin, Thomas Steenburg.

When Steenburg confronts Marq with "You'd better be able to back up calling Gimlin a liar," Marq Evans sidesteps or pivots, not just once, but three separate times.

Marq's had the footage since 2022, and on his own website, he claims it proves Gimlin's a liar. However, he has withheld the footage from public review for four years, seemingly to generate enough controversy to make a quick buck on streaming sales.

If he can't back it up, as Thomas said:

"Slap, slap, slap, shame on you."

To which Marq responds with a nervous giggle, then says, "You'll be welcome to that."

Maybe I'm wrong, and the PGF was a hoax, but if the film turns out to be a nothingburger, then that slap from Steenburg is something I'd pay to see.
